Colorful balloons paint the a blue sky in Krakow, Poland, where an annual event of homosexuals’ rights, tolerance and equality is demonstrated.

I really love this picture. It’s expresses in such a great way how diversity is a part of all of our lives. The colorful balloons against the grey brackdrop and the people below is so beautiful. Definitely a picture that speaks louder than words.

I know nothing about the author of these pictures. I just know that he has to be one of the most awesome persons in the in the world. A friend of mine emailed me two of his works a while ago and I had forgotten about them. But when I was cleaning out some folders on my pc today, I noticed them again and thought they would be perfect to feature on here.

The detail, style, creativity, and portrayal of his subjects is amazing. It’s so explicit and raw. He really gets his point across. The attention to detail and subject matter is so genius. This guy rocks. But who is he? The only thing on the Net about him is his artwork. I haven’t been able to find a biography or anything. But I guess we can gather what we will from his artwork. Wow.

Robert Laliberté, Canada’s renowned gay French-Canadian photographer. Laliberté has built his solid reputation mainly on his stunning nudes of the male body; pictures in which he artfully sculpts the male body with light, revealing a natural sensuality without ever being explicit. His photos of the black male body in particular are very evocative in both an artistic and sensitive way.

Troughout his career Laliberté has collaborated with numerous publications and his photographs have already been widely exhibited in Canada and abroad. He currently lives and works in Montréal where a retrospective of his work in black and white was held for the whole summer at the Écomusée du fier monde.

I was really blown away when I saw some of French artists’ Daniel Nassoy’s work. I’d never heard of him before. But I’m really glad now that I have. His work is fucking fantastic! He does everything from nature shots, to architecture, to scantily dressed men in some interesting settings and point of views.

I think these photos speak volumes. Something so beautiful about the white backdrop, nude males and the richest blood red flowers! It’s strange because I’m not interested in analyzing what’s going on the pictures. The models are just they’re and the pictures speak for themselves. Really simplistic but engaging.
