PrideVision, a gay tele. program in England interviews passers-by in it’s gay district about their stories of coming out to their parents. Some of these stories are really heart warming, funny, and as would be expected… sad.

Reminds me of how it was when I came out to my parents. Everyone has their own story, some of you that visit and read this blog probably haven’t came out to your friends or family yet. I think that this video is a good reminder that we all go through the same struggles and no matter your sexual preference, we’re all awesome.

There’s really nothing better than Spring sometimes. Everything here is blooming so beautifully. And it rained all day yesterday so the scent of the air is so wonderful right now.

What does this photograph envoke in you?

It makes me think of something greater than myself… that someone was able to capture a moment so brilliantly. Not just because the model is so striking, but everything about the scene. Rain falling or his sweat; looking up at something - the sky, possibly a tree, a bird - complete abandon; the intensity in the model’s eyes.

It makes me feel as though every struggle in life is worth it, as long as you can find inspiration, lose yourself, enjoy every happy moment, and learn from certain situations… good or bad.

This is the final scene from Six Feet Under.

I was inspired today, maybe because it was of the weather or maybe it was because of something I saw. I’m not sure, or maybe it was a mixture of both.

Well, actually, I THINK it was the above, these two pictures, watching Six Feet Under, and listening to this song again.

Wow, it’s mid August already….

I think it’s important that we take time out of their day to reflect on all of the good things in life, especially when a lot of things are weighing you down. Of course, it’s not easy, but hey… what can it hurt? It can only make things better in the future, right? :o)

I hope this lil’ pic. inspires some calmness for someone. I know it’s just a picture, but I think it’s great, and the intention of the person that took it, I’m sure was good. :o)
